20-bore Sidelock Ejector by W. R. Leeson, Serial no. 1229

28" nitro proofed steel barrels, choked ¼ and ½. Chambered for 2¾" cartridges. Makers name and address engraved W R Leeson Ashford Kent on concaved game rib. Carries original London Proof House marks and more recent Birmingham proof marks.

Back action sidelock with Webley Screw Grip third bite and Dolls head type extension. Lock plates carry makers name W R Leeson. Detailed and full scroll engraving. Fluted Leeson style fences.

Nicely figured 14¾" straight hand English stock with drop points, fitted with Silvers type recoil pad. Inlaid gold oval engraved "M.G."

Anson push-rod type fore-end release.
