12-bore Sidelock Ejector by W. R. Leeson, Serial no. 1301

 

No: 2 gun of a pair of back action Sidelock Ejectors. 30" steel barrels with London proof marks, proofed c. 1896 to 1904. Action made with the Webley Screw grip third bite and fitted with a Dolls head extension. Concaved top rib, engraved W R Leeson Ashford, Kent. and 20 Maddox St. London W. Conventional designed fences but with ornate carving, the standing breech fitted with disk set strikers.

Top lever fitted with additional locking pin through main spindle screw. Action engraved W R Leeson. Fitted with Beetle safety. Lock plates nicely engraved with rose and scroll.

15" nicely figured straight hand English stock including 1" wood extension.
