engraved W.R. LEESON, ASHFORD, KENT & 29 MADDOX STREET, LONDON, W.
Chambered for 2½" cartridges and choked true cylinder in both barrels.
Anson & Deeley hammerless
Boxlock but with the Leeson style conical fences. Top-lever fitted
with additional locking pin and engraved with "2". Construction making use
of the
Webley Screw Grip third bite with the Dolls head extension. Standing breech
fitted with removable disk set strikers and intercepting safety sears. Best
border and scroll engraving, action bar engraved W R Leeson in a
scrolling banner.
Well figured
English straight hand stock measuring 14¾" including a ¾" wood
extension.
Anson push rod forend release.

Gun made c.1900/1904
This guns forms part of a composed pair with an earlier Leeson, serial
#887. Both guns in a double leather case.
