Chambered for 2½" cartridges and choked RH ¼ and LH ¾. The action is a treble bite Webley Screw Lock with disc set strikers and typical "Leeson"  fences. The action is fully engraved with scroll and retains much original colour finishing, makers name W. R. Leeson appearing below action flats. Retains some traces of original colour hardening.

Anson push rod fore-end release.

A straight English stock, well figured and measuring 14⅝" including ¼" wood extension, fine chequering finish in excellent condition.
