16-bore Boxlock Non Ejector by W. R. Leeson, Serial no. 1460

28in black steel barrels, nitro proofed. Stock: 14½" straight hand stock, no extension. Anson push rod fore-end. Barrels engraved with W. R. Leeson Ashford, Kent (L/hand) and 29 Maddox Street, London W (R/hand).

The two addresses engraved on the barrels would date the gun between 1900 and 1904.

This gun uses the more conventional two bite bolt system without the usual Webley Screw grip third bite system.
