Case-hardened action with Jones's rotary under-lever. Back action with rebounding locks. Action and lock plates engraved with fine foliate scroll details. Top of action has matt finish. Trigger-guard shows 50-60% bluing. Lock plates engraved with maker's name W R Leeson.

Finely checkered pistol-grip stock of contrasting slightly figured walnut with cheek-piece, sling eyes and vacant silver oval. Checkered steel butt-plate. Finely checkered splinter fore-end with Harvey Grip Catch fore-end release.
