16-bore Boxlock Ejector by W. R. Leeson, Serial No: 2084

Good quality Boxlock ejector with Leeson conical fences, top lever fitted with secondary spindle locking pin. Breech face fitted with disk set strikers also with additional locking pins. Best boarder with rose and scroll engraving. Action engraved with makers name W R Leeson.

30" steel barrels with Webley Screw Grip third bite and fitted with blade style extension. Choked R. Improved and L. ½ and chambered for 2¾" magnum cartridges. Secondary 28" pair of steel barrels. Concaved game rib, carrying the makers name and address of W R Leeson 3 Warwick Street, Regent St., London W1. The barrels carry original London Proof - 1904 to 1925. Likely date of manufacture c.1921/1925.

The gun has been recently re-stocked with a beautiful 15¾" straight hand stock. Anson type fore-end release.
