.380 Rook Rifle by W. R. Leeson, Serial No: 250

.38 special calibre, 26" full octagon barrel, case hardened side lever tip up action with an auto ejector. Barrel engraved W. R. Leeson Ashford, Kent. 38 Special. 

Chequered walnut fore-end and pistol grip butt stock measuring 14 1/2" over a horn butt plate.

The rifle was originally chambered for .250 and was subsequently re-chambered to .38 special by Holland & Holland and so marked on the underside of the barrel. Two leaf folding express sights. Retaining all of its finish, mint bore.
