Barrels:
27” with game rib, bored approx ¼ and ½. Barrels re-polished (exterior
rust removal) and re-blacked. Chambers 2½”. Top rib engraved W R Leeson
Ashford Kent. Siemens Steel but almost unreadable.

Action:
Webley & Brain triple screw grip, “Leeson” fences engraved rose and
scroll with leaves, and wild roses/daises/dahlias? “W R Leeson” in
banner, “Patent Screw Grip” in banner. Disc set strikers, striker
locking screw, beetle safety. Blued bottom plate only 5% blueing
remaining.
Stock:
Straight hand 14⅜” with side panels and horn butt plate.
Siemens
steel barrels possibly introduced in the late 1870s, the gun bears
London provisional proof, view and definitive proof marks.
Gun
possibly dates around mid c.1890/95 and was lightly used throughout its
life, probably hardly used at all from 1900 to 1981.
