Good quality converted Rook & Rabbit rifle, modified to .22 Hornet, original calibre unknown due to removal of original proof marks. 27" steel barrel with upper edge file cut for non reflection.

Carrying original Birmingham Proof House marks on action flat but barrel proof marks have been defaced following conversion. Makers name W. R. Leeson  engraved on left side of barrel. Folding rear peep sight, bead front sight and flip up iron sights.

Forward operating under-lever Boxlock ejector, action with interesting additions to fence. Best bouquet/rose and scroll engraving with colour case hardening. Disk set striker. Makers name and address W. R. Leeson, Ashford  engraved on top strap

Pistol grip well-figured stock measuring 15¼".   Fitted with snap lock forend mechanism.
