Unknown details of gun but featured in an article written by W. A. C. to the Field on 15th November 1879 concerning the writers own trials of this gun with its 22" barrels.

8-bore Double Barrel Hammer Wildfowling Gun by W. R. Leeson, Serial No: 466

 

Treble-grip action-body with Jones patent rotary under-lever, rebounding back-locks, percussion fences, border engraving, stock with pistol grip, pistol grip-cap and butt-plate, lever-latch fore-end.

 

36¼" Siemen's-steel barrels with broad concave-rib. Both barrels choked approx. choke, 4". chambers, Black Powder proof
