16-bore Ejector by W. R. Leeson,
Serial no. 854
A 16 ejector shotgun, lock mechanism unknown.
Fitted with 28" barrels.
Weight: 5lbs 15oz
This gun was used in the Field gun trials of June 1896. This gun was
later owned by a prolific writer of the time called 16-bore whom made
many contributions to the "Field" journal over a period year
during the late 1800's. He appeared to be a great supporter of Leeson and
mentioned him as a maker in much correspondence.
