William Leeson to a Mr. Kearsey, the letter belongs to a supporter of this site,
Chris Skinner who kindly gave his permission to publish it and who also
transcribed Mr. Leeson's handwriting.

Dear Sir,
Your letter has been forwarded
to me from Ashford.
In reply if you will let me have
your gun at once I can complete same this morning.
The cost of re-blacking barrels
is 12/6.
Yes, I can make the new stock
without pistol grip without altering the balance.
