27" re-sleeved barrels, choked RH improved LH modified. Original barrel rib engraved with W. R. Leeson, Ashford, Kent. Siemens Steel. barrel flats originally stamped with London proof marks but also now carries Birmingham re-proof marks. Chambers for 2¾" cartridges.

Webley Screw Grip third bite action with typical "Leeson" fences. Fine Scroll and bouquet engraving with faint traces of original colour hardening. Action bar engraved W. R. Leeson - Patent Screw Grip.

Anson push rod fore-end fitting.

15" Straight English nicely figured stock including 1" horn extension. Inlaid gold escutcheon.

The combination of the serial number, original proof marks and the engraved address suggest this gun would have been made around 1890 -1895.
