27" Siemens steel barrels, both RH and LH barrels choked Improved cylinder - both bores in excellent condition. Chambered for 2¾" cartridges. Barrel flats carry London proof marks.

Webley Screw Grip with Dolls Head third bite action with typical "Leeson" fences. Action face fitted with disk set strikers.

Fine Scroll and bouquet engraving with traces of original colour hardening. Action engraved W. R. Leeson - Patent Screw Grip.

Anson push rod fore-end fitting.

14¼" Straight English nicely figured stock with gold inlaid escutcheon. Ebony butt plate nicely let into the stock.

The combination of the serial number, original proof marks and the engraved address suggest this gun would have been made around 1890 -1895.
