2½-inch chambers, nitro-proof, very clean bores measuring 0.621” and 0.622”.
Conventional concaved game rib, engraved W. R. Leeson Ashford & 29 Maddox

Fitted with Webley Screw Grip third bite
but of the less common blade type extension rather than the more conventional “Dolls head” style
seen on many Leeson guns..
The action is a very plain all
black finish, the bar engraved with simple edge scroll. The maker's name “W.
R. Leeson” signed within a scrolling banner. Typical “Leeson”
conical/fluted fences. The fore-end is fitted with the Deeley and Edge
fore-end release.
In its original makers canvas
case with accessories. Original trade label appears to have been removed in
the past.
Stock is a
14¾" well figured straight hand.
