28-inch replacement steel barrels with
2¾" chambers, carrying
Birmingham
nitro-proof proof
stamps, originally London proofed. Conical Leeson style fences with conventional concaved game rib,
does not carry makers name or address on top rib.
Action made with the Webley Screw Grip third bite
and fitted with the conventional “Dolls head” style
extension. Disk set strikers with additional locking screws.
This back action ejector is
very well engraved with rose and scroll and carrying the maker's name “W.
R. Leeson”. The forend release is of the Anson style
mechanism. The top lever spindle is also fitted with an additional locking
screw.
Action, barrels & forend
engraved with the no "1" indicating one of a pair or trio of guns.
In its makers leather
case with accessories complete with Warwick Street trade label. Case
lid embossed with the initials
R. A. F. K.
Nicely
figured straight hand English stock with 15" LOP incl. ¾" wooden
extension.
