20-bore Boxlock non-ejector. 28" steel barrels, concave game rib engraved W. R. Leeson Ashford, Kent & 29 Maddox Street, London. The barrel flats carrying the original London Nitro proof marks for 1896 - 1904.

Chambered for 2½" cartridges, the action has the Webley Screw Grip third bite with the Dolls Head extension. The standing breech fitted with disc set strikers and "Leeson" style conical  fences. The action is fully engraved with the makers name W. R. Leeson appearing below action flats. Fitted with intercepting safety sears. Top lever spindle fitted with additional locking pin.
