28” barrels with concave game rib, engraved W. R. Leeson Ashford Kent, Siemens's Steel with a wedge of engraved scrollwork at the breech. 2¾" chambers, choke tube system, with extractor. The case hardened frame features a fine scroll engraving that extends to the hammers. The lock plates have a scroll border engraving with a Marsh scene on the left lock and Game bird scene on the right. The break lever and trigger guard/lower tang also feature the scroll engraving with a game bird scene on the trigger guard. Various British proofs are stamped on the water-table and on the underside of the chambers.

Nicely figured walnut straight grip stock with fine checkering on the wrist and forearm and a bare checkered butt.

Note: Condition: Professionally restored. Most of the blue finish remains with some thinning on the barrels. The action retains most of the case colors, with a clear and crisp engraving. The wood has a few minor dings (mostly on the butt-stock), with crisp checkering. The action is fine.
