8-bore Boxlock Non Ejector by W. R. Leeson, Serial No. 726

 

 

38" steel sleeved Nitro proofed barrels with 82mm chambers and fitted with concaved top rib. Extra Full Choked in both barrels. Webley Screw grip third bite with Dolls Head extension. Top rib engraved with makers name and address W. R. Leeson Ashford, Kent (not original rib). Barrels had been previously sleeved but new owner had barrels sleeved again with tubes creating a total length of 38". Original barrels made from Siemens steel.

Lightly engraved non ejector action, the makers name W. R. Leeson engraved on the action bar. Disk Set strikers with no additional locking screws.

15" nicely figured straight hand English stock with ¾" recoil pad. The forend is fitted with the Grip fore-end lever as patented by Charles Harvey c.1866.
