12-bore Boxlock Ejector by W. R. Leeson, Serial No. 754

 

28" sleeved nitro proofed barrels, originally made from Siemens steel with 2½" chambers and fitted with original concaved game rib. Choked ¼ and ½. Proof marks originally from London Proof House and carry Birmingham Re-proof following sleeving. Fitted with Webley Screw grip and Dolls head type extension. Rib engraved with makers name and address W R Leeson Ashford, Kent - Seimens Steel.

Action styled with Leeson conical fences and nicely engraved with typical rose and scroll. Fitted with disk set strikers and intercepting sears. The top-lever also highly engraved and fitted with additional locking screw into top spindle. The makers name W R Leeson  and Patent Screw Grip appearing in a flying banner.

14⅝" well figured replacement  straight hand English stock. Forend fitted with Anson push-rod release.
