12-bore Boxlock Ejector by W. R. Leeson, Serial No: 887

 

 

 

 

Good quality Boxlock ejector with replacement 28" Nitro Proofed steel barrels. Concaved top rib but not engraved with makers name. Barrels choked RH-¼ and LH-¾. Fitted with the Webley Screw Grip with the Dolls head extension.

The action has the fluted (Leeson) fences and is engraved W. R. Leeson Patent Screw grip on the action bar.  Fine rose scroll and border engraving to both action and fences. Action fitted with disk set strikers and Intercepting sears. Top lever fitted with additional locking pin.

Nicely figured English straight hand stock measuring 14¾" including ¾" wood extension.

The forend is fitted with the Anson push rod type release.
